CSTD PRODUCES 2nd SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE WINNER!

Congratulations to Brisbane dancer Talia Fowler for winning the 2009 So you Think You Can Dance series.

Talia was trained at Steps Dance Centre and went through the CSTD examination system. Teachers Jomel Purtill & Julieann Nugent.

2008 winner Jack Chambers also trianed through the CSTD system. Brisbane based Julie-Ann Lucas School of Dance.

Other prominent choreographers on the series also CSTD trained are

• Project Moda boys Simon & Shannon. Trained at Davidia Lind Dance Centre Brisbane
• Amy Delves from Beverley Parker School of Dance choreographed the item voted 'most special' by viewers...Talia with the long black piece of fabric
• Kelley Abbey, top choreographer and guest judge trained at The southern Academy of Dance Brisbane, CSTD teacher and Examiner Sandra Breen. We are most fortunate to have some of Kelley's fantastic work included in our grade 7 Modern Jazz Syllabus.
• Beverley Parker also choreographed a beautiful lyrical section of our grade 5 Modern Jazz Syllabus.

Congratulations to all of these Queensland teachers and choreographers. All CSTD students can aspire to becoming fantastic dancers & follow in the footsteps of these great ambasssdors for CSTD and all of Australia.
